How far is the airport?

Sanur is about 14 km from Ngurah Rai airport. Distance is not the problem; traffic is. Afternoons can be slow, especially when school lets out around 2:30PM to 3:30PM, and the road into Sanur is busy in the morning. Using the toll road can save a lot of time compared with going through Kuta, so ask your driver. At night the trip is usually much quicker.

How to plan it

Choose the treatment first. A 60-minute massage or foot reflexology is easy to fit in, and a 90-minute treatment is perfect if you have the afternoon free.
Finish at least a couple of hours before you need to leave for the airport, longer in the afternoon traffic. For international flights, most people want to be at the airport several hours early.
